This display has been a work in progress for over 36 years and includes many animated elves, snowmen, animals, a Santa Claus with his reindeer, and a miniature railroad. The characters are all home made and are brought to life using 12 volt windshield-wiper motors (mainly Ford). Thousands of lights outline the house and yard, music plays, and occasionally “snow” will fall. Be sure to take a close look around, as there several items hidden (or not so hidden) in this display including pop-culture nods, a REAL 1.5 foot snowman, and more!
The lights come on starting December 7th from 5:30pm to 9:00pm week nights, 5:30pm to 10:00pm on weekends, and 5:30 to Midnight on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (the last night).
As one person put it – definitely the most fun to look at (in the area).
